Job description / Role
I am exclusively recruiting a "Head of Procurement" role for a major local group in the UAE. This business is involved in a range of activities from Healthcare, Retail, FMCG, Office Equipment and Property.
I felt your experience in an advisory / Consulting capacity and the variety of industries you have worked in advantageous for this role.
The group is split into various independent businesses and 2 years ago established a corporate head office / shared services. The next phase of this shared services head office is to establish a strategic procurement function to consolidated procurement across the whole group.
This role would take responsibility for AED800M p.a in procurement spending, supporting procurement managers in each independent enterprise, streamline suppliers, establish category management across the group and tailor the ERP system.
Requirements
This challenging role will have full support of the CEO to implement changes. It would suit a big picture thinker, with transformation experience, strong analytical skills, someone who can drive this large project, work with GM's across a range of industries, implement the processes and procedures needed to make the procurement function a strategic asset to the group.
No doubt this is an exciting and challenging role and an opportunity to establish a new procurement function in a large group.
