Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly established organisation. Our client is looking to hire a Head of HR / Human Resources Manager (Qatari National) to be responsible for the continued development of the HR department.
This is a HR generalist role whereby you will be responsible for the effective management of recruitment, personnel administration, medical insurances, training and development and company policies and procedures. You will also be accountable for developing and implementing strategies and plans to achieve targets. In addition, you will monitor local employment trends and ensure all company recruitment standards are met. You will also write and implement general HR policies and administer a workforce of over 200 staff whist managing a small specialist HR team based in the Doha office.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a Qatari National who holds an HR management or relevant business Degree. You should have at least 5 years experience in a similar position with solid knowledge of the rules and regulations of the Qatari market. You should ideally have excellent understanding of the Qatari Labour Laws and be able to handle a large level of responsibility. It is essential you have experience of proposing and implementing HR policies such as disciplinary, grievance, appraisals, performance management and compensation and benefits. Strong communication and presentational skills are crucial for this role.
