Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for developing and implementing the compensation and benefits strategy in alignment with HR strategy and business objectives. Head of HR Services is also responsible to lead the delivery of services including Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, HR Administration, Employee Records, and other HR Support services.
- Manage team to analyze costing, utilization and funding models to provide competitive plans to organization and recommend new and/or improved employee benefit plans and cost-saving measures.
- Manage the design of compensation programs and eligibilities of the full range of employee benefit programs, including base salary models, incentive programs and allowances, based on the approved grading structure to ensure consistent and effective compensation and benefits programs.
- Mange the development and implementation of pension program related to Qataris and GCC based on Qatari pension law and other rules and regulations related to GCC countries to ensure compliance with pertaining policies and legal requirements.
- Manage regulatory compliance and reporting processes and activities relating to compensation programs.
- Handle complex issues pertaining customer relationships, employees complaints and grievances.
- Ensure that the health and welfare programs and administered correctly.
- Manage loans, advances, reimbursement, and allowances to ensure their compliance with pertaining policies.
- Manage and coordinate with the Finance Department on organization-wide payroll process to ensure accuracy of payroll master data and timely processing of final pay and customer satisfaction.
- Manage payroll year end processing and reports which include reconciliation and annual employee pay data as well as statutory documents to ensure accuracy of information and minimal errors.
- Manage the resolution of HR inquiries escalated by ensuring adequate support to employees is provided as per pertaining policies to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure escalation to unresolved HR inquiries to respective HR section.
- Act as a consultant to Line Managers and leadership on compensation and benefits, and payroll.
- Brief the Human Resources Manager on all compensation and benefits, personnel affairs, and HR administration activities, escalate issues, and provide reports as required.
- Prepare periodic reports that show the progress of the recruitment and manpower planning activities to the HR Manager.
- Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices.
- This covers the key responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It does not preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management.
- HR Certifications (PHR, SPHR) is preferred
- Ten years of relevant work experience in compensation and benefits, personnel affairs, and HR administration.
