Head of HR Kuwait

Salary: 10,000 USD Monthly plus full Family Package

Preferably an Indian National

Our Clients are well-known for their excellence in service within the fields of technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing and have a strong base history and presence within Middle East and Asia over the last 70 years.

Due the dynamic market demand and expansion the company is focusing on redefining their organizational model, with an objective to facilitate growth and improve organization performance.

Reporting directly to the GCC Head of HR, this is a new role created due to winning a large project in the region which will see the head count of the operation rise significantly as they work to staff the project.

Given this win, the company has recognized the need for a strategically minded HR Manager, who thrives on establishing a strong operational HR structure for the company, while leading and motivating a team of 5 HR professionals to support the growth.

As an experienced HR Manager, your knowledge with local laws and market conditions is essential as is your ability to plan, create and deliver on elements such as Recruitment, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Processes and Policies.

Responsibilities:
• Oversees the implementation and administration of Human Resources policies, programs and practices.
• Leads the development of department goals, objectives and systems and monitor Human Resources annual Budget.
• Establishes and leads staffing practices and procedures necessary to recruit and retain an effective workforce.
• Develops and implements training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs, including on-the-job operational training, department special training, management development, new hire orientation and on boarding.
• Ensures the provisions of cost effective benefits plan; monitor benefits environment for cost savings.
• Directs a process of organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and personnel resources for the company. Ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Directs a process of organizational development that addresses issues such as succession planning, workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, workflow efficiency and change management.
• Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for the firm that will establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation, and that comply with policies, procedures, programs and laws.

Requirements

• Ideally currently located in Kuwait
• Engineering / Academic Graduate with MBA in HR from premier College
• 20 + years of progressive experience at senior management level
• Must have EPC Industry experience in GCC Countries
• Must be thorough with Local Labour Laws (Kuwait)
• Experience in handling & implementing SAP / HRIS software
• Resource planning
• Need to travel to Project Site to address Staff Grievance
• Experience with International recruitment and expatriates
• Knowledge about the industry and the competitors
• Analytical Skills
