Head of HSE - Major Oil Operator

Moscow - Russia

Your role as Head of HSE will be to change the HSE strategy and culture of a traditionally Russian Oil company to that of Western major. This will be a significant challenge and the ideal candidate will have experience in a Western major E&P company and have an understanding of Russian or CIS HSE practice and culture.

You will have HSE managers from all regional and international projects reporting to you and will in turn report to the most senior levels in the company. Russian is the main language spoken but English is also widely used and you would not need to be able to speak Russian. We are really looking for a high calibre candidate looking for a challenge.

Responsibilities include:

- Devise HSE Strategy in line with Western Majors
- Implement Strategy
- Oversee day to day HSE
- Travel throughout Russian and International

The right candidate will have:

- Broad HSE Upstream knowledge
- Senior Management Experience
- Knowledge or experience of Russia / CIS
- Major Oil Company Background
- Looking for a tough challenge

The salary is negotiable and levels will be considered. Ex-pat package will be provided.
