We are looking to appoint a full time Head of Infection Control to join us on a permanent basis based in Doha, Qatar,

We welcome hospital based practitioners to this role with experience in Operating Theatres who are qualified as an Infection Control Nurse, Practitioner or Manager.

Your focus will be safety, quality and infection control.

You will need to have knowledge of infection control principles, experience in outbreak investigation practices and be able to demonstrate leadership in the provision of preventive and public health programs and the investigation and prevention of communicable diseases.

The successful candidate will review and assesses work assignments, implement strategies for performance and program improvement as well as review and update IC Policies & Procedures (ICPPs).

You will use your epidemiological knowledge in the investigation of infection and infectious disease incidences and recommend intervention strategies for the prevention and control of infections and infectious diseases.

We would like to hear from experienced candidates with a minimum of two years experience who would like the opportunity to work in a very supportive and progressive modern department.

Requirements

- A Bachelors Degree in Infection Control
- Postgraduate Diploma in Infection Control
- BSc (Hons) Health Studies and PgDip / MSc Health Care
- MSc in Infection Control
- Postgraduate Certificate in Infection Control
- Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC)
- Certification Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
- Medical Technologist Certification

Ideally you will have 5 years of position-related experience in Infection Control with in the OR department.
