Head of Human Resources (Reporting to CEO)

Job description / Role

A leading bank in Qatar with aggressive growth plans is looking to hire a fluent Arabic & English speaking Head of HR level candidate. The individual will report to the CEO and have total remit for all HR strategy and day-to-day business matters.

High Level Responsibilities:
- Developing and driving the execution of the banks human resources strategy alongside the senior management team
- Working closely with the management team to identify resource gaps, develop manpower plans and drive the recruiting process of vacant positions and managing the relationships with search firms
- Developing, refreshing and maintaining a career development, performance management, compensation and incentive system for the bank at par with relevant best practices and the market
- Designing and executing tailored learning and development programs that are tailored to the various functions of the bank
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, including the provision of administrative activities; visas and residencies, payroll, benefits, insurance etc

Requirements

- Fluent Arabic & English speaking candidate
- Progressive HR career with a solid understanding of a banking environment
- Ideally Middle East exposure, although this is not essential
