Head of Human Resources

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a financial service provider who is looking to hire a Head of Human Resources to join their team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will manage all HR operations along with mentoring and guiding the HR team. You will be responsible for updating policies and procedures as well as attracting and developing talent. You will also oversee the performance management process and manage the recruitment function. Additionally you will prepare succession plans and recommend training programs together with monitoring employee engagement and supervising the PRO function.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a masters Degree and have a minimum of 7 years experience within a managerial role. It is essential you have a generalist experience and background in a specialist / strategic HR function. You should have strong knowledge of the GCC labour laws and excellent people management skills. A high level of confidence coupled with the ability to motivate and develop a team are vital for this role. Previous experience within financial services would be advantageous.
