Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly regarded, multinational organisation within the composite materials market including architecture and marine, who has a number of exceptional projects worldwide. Our client is looking to hire a Head of Human Resources.
This role will join the HR function and oversee 6 members who will report to you. You will be responsible for bringing policies and procedures in to line with a major focus on motivation. The business has a headcount of around 2,000 employees in the UAE, 80% of which are blue collar workers. You will bring a balance of strategic and operation understanding to deliver new structures related to C&B, employee engagement and performance management as a priority.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have more than 10 years experience within HR, ideally from within manufacturing, engineering, construction or hospitality. You should also be an outstanding communicator. It is essential you have experience dealing with a large blue collar workforce and previously worked on strategies to motivate employees to achieve excellent results. Our client has specified a preference for a Western educated candidate.
