The RoleThe RoleHead of IT Infrastructure - Financial Services - Dubai This leading provider of High Street FX and Consumer Transaction Services is looking for a Head of IT Infrastructure to be based in their Dubai office. The role for the Head of IT Infrastructure will be to ensure the availability of computer systems throughout the company. Under your supervision, you will manage team members responsible for Server Applications, LAN / WAN, IT Security and Telecommunications. You will also be heavily involved in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning. This role reports into the Head of IT and will be responsible for IT infrastructure strategy, staff management / appraisals, budget management, procurement and contract negotiation. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field - Accredited certifications in OS, Network LAN/WAN, DB's, Applications, etc. Work Experience: - Minimum 5 years experience with all aspects of Oracle infrastructure, OS, Network Operations & Support. - In-depth knowledge of UNIX / Linux based platforms, Backup/Recovery procedure, design and architecture - Experience managing SAN systems and related tools/applications - Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. - Ability to install, manage and administer different platform such as Windows, UNIX, Linux and all related tools, networking components and applications. - Prince 2 / PMP certified - English & Arabic (Oral & Written) |
