Head of IT Operations

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a leading GCC bank headquartered in Dubai who is looking to hire a Head of IT Operations to join their business on a permanent basis. The overall purpose of this role is complete management of the bank’s IT Infrastructure environment.

You will be responsible for the global IT infrastructure operations and services including Data Centres, Network (LAN/WAN), Systems Administration (Windows/Unix), Server Hardware as well as SAN storage, DBA team, Information Security Operations, Client Desktop Support and Helpdesk.

In addition, you will also project manage initiatives to implement and integrate the IT transformation projects across the bank, including the associated vendor management and negotiations.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer or information sciences. You should have at least 10 years experience working in a banking environment and have expert technical knowledge within IT Infrastructure. It is essential you have previous experience in managing multinational teams and have excellent English communication skills.
