Job description / Role
Head of IT – ERP Experience
A Head of IT is required by my global client specializing within many verticals. Your role is to plan, direct, manage and oversee the IT/IS activities and operations of the Group; administer the IT budget, staff and physical facilities across the Group.
Define global IT strategy and IT standards for the Group
Ensure that all IT investments and efforts are in line with Global IT strategy and that the defined IT vision is properly implemented
Set-up proper governance at Group level (Policies & Procedures) and IT project level (Steering Committees, Project Review, Budget)
Manage, direct, control and motivate Information Technology departments. Accountable for the management, mentoring and career development of all IT staff within the Group.
Develop an annual plan and operating budget for the IT department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that targets are met.
Define and seeks approval for the level of IT resources required to meet goals.
Negotiate service level agreements with both internal customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met.
Manage directly some strategic projects (ERP alignment, Standardization of data)
Requirements
At least 10 years of experience with real experience of ERP rollout and Infrastructure supervision
Proven senior IT Management experience.
Proven track record of driving IT strategy.
Experience of managing multiple IT disciplines i.e. Projects, user support, Infrastructure
Broad understanding of computer systems, IT network, databases and applications.
In depth experience of negotiating with and managing third parties
Flexible, committed, entrepreneurial and able to work in a pressurized environment
Excellent project management skills, very good communication skills and strong knowledge of mid size ERP (in particular Dynamics )
Fluent English
