Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
- Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
- Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that ICT facilities meet these needs and offering users appropriate support and advice
- Guaranteeing the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision
- Providing secure access to the network for remote users; securing data from internal and external attack
- Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
- Manage IT Projects from the analysis, requirements definition, vendor selection, implementation and supporting along with delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Ability to bridge technology and business goals to provide productive solutions
- Leadership of IT team; delivering wide range of IT solutions to organizations
- Professional with broad experience and extensive knowledge in cross-functional IT project management, methodologies and techniques

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree Information Technology or Computer Science
- 7 10 years of experience, 3 of which have been in a management role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of complex information and requirements
- Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
- Great IT skills combined with a good head for business
- Ability to explain complex systems in simple terms
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
