The RoleThe RoleKey Tasks and Responsibilities: - Establish and Manage the Internal Audit Division reporting directly to the Board Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO. - Responsible for drafting annual audit plan and key input to company's risk assessment activities to ensure that the systems of control supports the achievement of business goals whilst balancing risk and cost of control. - Review and report to Management and Audit Committee on the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control environment in the company. - Perceived as value adding business partner by enhancing the risk and control awareness within the company. - Train, mentor, coach and supervise audit staff and direct all internal audit activities for the company. - Provide regular accounts of Company's Control and Audit status to the Audit Committee. - Areas of coverage include Financial, operational and IT among others. - Review and finalize reporting, both written and oral, to key internal customers. - Responsible for performing special audit requests as directed by the Audit Committee - Submission of clear, concise and pertinent reports to identify significant areas of risk control and propose practical action plans. Improved risk and control awareness of employees. |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience: - A Minimum of 15 Years of experience in the Audit function - Education and Qualification: - A Minimum of a Bachelor degree in a business related subject accompanied with a professional certification (CPA, CIA …) Knowledge/Skills/Languages: - Considerable exposure to mainframe and PC based applications and computer assisted audit techniques. - Excellent communication and inter personal skills. |
