Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Leap 29 are working with a prestigious Health Insurance company based in Qatar who are currently seeking a Head of Internal Audit to run the Audit function for the company, and manage a team of Internal Auditors to successfully develop and improve the quality of Internal Audit processes.

You will report to the Managing Director, and the Audit & Risk Committee, and be responsible for developing an annual Audit plan to cover all the activities of the company and its key suppliers. You will also be tasked to coach lead and grow the Internal Audit team encouraging their skill development and individual personal growth.

Requirements

- 10 years or more experience within Auditing functions
- 5 years experience working with an insurance or healthcare company
- Qualifications in risk management or insurance
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Big 4 experience would be advantageous
- Professional qualifications in Internal Auditing (CPA/CA/ACA etc.)
- Fluency in Arabic would be advantageous
