Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A large bank based in Doha, Qatar are looking for a Head of Internal Communications to add to the growing Marketing communications dept across the group with the vision to establish the bank as the number 1 employer and company across the markets it currently operates in.

Reporting to the AGM, Communications, you will be responsible for devising the strategy for internal communications within the Group. The incumbent will also manage and implement all internal channels of communication to ensure the effective communication flow with all internal parties to facilitate meeting the Group’s strategic objectives

Your responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

•Assist in setting and controlling communications and PR related budgets to facilitate the delivery and execution of the communications strategy.
•Assist and supervise in creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes for the Internal Communications Department and assist in monitoring their achievement on a periodic basis.
•Build and maintain strong and effective communication flow with all departments to achieve the Group’s goals/ objectives.
•Provide timely and accurate information to the external auditors and the compliance function, as and when required.
•Responsible for managing, planning, directing, controlling and implementing a proactive internal communication program for the organization.
•Coordinate the documentation and the implementation of departmental policies and procedures which will set out the principles, methodology and techniques to establish effective internal communications.
•Assist in establishing and implementing best in class communication practices and frameworks across the Group
•Implement internal communications program that pinpoints the organization strategic messages and effectively delivering those messages by using various forms of communication, including emails, newsletters, training programs, and employee forums.
•Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all Organization Internal publications and develop communications templates for different use.

Requirements

•Bachelor degree preferably in Communications and Public Relations, Masters is a plus.
•Minimum of 6 years work experience in a major bank of which at least 4 years where of a managerial capacity in a similar function.
•Experience of managing production of print materials: e.g. newsletters and magazines.
