Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a high profile investment business based in Qatar. As the Head of Investment Accounting you will ensure that function is successfully used to maximise financial performance. You will be responsible for all accounting activities, ensuring accounts are prepared in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. This role will report to the Finance Director and the successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills.
Your main responsibilities will be to contribute to the business strategy through working with different divisional managers to implement new processes, policies and procedures. You will have experience in leading and managing a number of individuals and be able to supervise and actively drive team performance. You should be able to competently work and develop budgets and forecasts as well as prepare and monitor divisional business plans. You will also have a strong financial reporting background alongside significant technical accounting experience.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a bachelors Degree in finance or accounting, however preference will be given to those with a Masters Degree. A professional accounting qualification, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA would be advantageous.
