Head of Islamic Marketing, Qatar
Our client, a Middle East based commercial bank is looking for a Head of Islamic Marketing to join its team in Qatar. The incumbent is primarily responsible for sensitizing the Islamic Banking Retail Marketing unit to the needs of the customer and lead the customer focus initiative.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver marketing plans that deliver the Islamic Retail Banking financial and business objectives.
• Update the website content (English and Arabic) for all business units across Islamic Retail Banking.
• Coordinate all press conferences, special events and publicity for major new product/ segment launches.
• Monitor the detailed annual advertising and promotional plan distributed across Islamic Retail business units.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, MBA with specialization in Marketing preferred.
• At least 6 years Islamic retail banking experience, with good exposure to Islamic Products Management & Advertising with at least 3 years in a supervisory level marketing role with a major banking institution in the GCC.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Banking Systems.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
