Department Overview:
In Yahoo!, we strive to increase our share of the MENA ad market and increase the share of online advertising out of total ad spend. Being able to initiate strategic discussions, understand the market landscape and establish very strong relationships with advertisers and agencies are crucial for the success of this team in addition to be able to demonstrate Yahoo’s strengths, tell its story and achieve remarkable servicing standards that differentiates us.

Job Title : Head of Sales, KSA
Reporting into the Managing Director of MEA, this is a pivotal role for Yahoo! in the middle east.
The Head of Saudi role is a key role that plays an important role in strengthening Yahoo’s position in the market.

Responsibilities
• To work closely with the MD and the leadership to set key strategic ambition for Yahoo! in KSA by advising our Sales, Media, Product, BD and Marketing teams on the Saudi dynamics and the right market information needed to succeed.
• Own the Saudi revenue goal with our vertical and mid market teams and help drive delivery of those goals
• Create and execute a plan that accelerates share shift in Saudi Arabia towards digital and positions Yahoo at the center of this shift by being the face of Yahoo with key advertising agencies to (1) Key Yahoo top of mind (2) Keep them up to date with all Yahoo products and new developments (3) being the point of escalation for any issues and be their internal advocate to resolve those challenges
• Negotiate all trading deals within KSA, and make sure Yahoo! take an increasing share from major agency groups.
• Open doors for the vertical sales with major spenders through initiating contact with senior executives with key Saudi companies and maintain those relationships.
• Understand the implications of the changing media landscape from a Yahoo! perspective and help drive our strategy as a result.
• Should be a thought leader in the market and represent Yahoo! at appropriate industry events

Requirements

Key Role Requirements
• Must have a proven track record in marketing, media, sales and preferably worked in multinational
• Saudi national
• Must be an inspirational and proven leader.
• Access to key executives in major companies in KSA
• Agency relationship is a plus.
• A person with gravitas, who has strong presentation and communication skills
• To have a rapport with people and an ability to get the most out of an individual
• Understand the changing face of the online market and where it fits within the overall media landscape
• Works very well in a corporate structure understand how to operate within a matrix organization.
