Head of Learning & Development

Job description / Role

Our client a regional family group is looking for a Head of Learning & Development to join their operations in Dubai.

- To drive our client's enterprise learning strategy in close alignment with the Head of Talent and OD of businesses and tailored to their business requirements.
- Lead the delivery of a learning agenda that supports building a high performance culture and offer best in class learning programs.
- Formulate and embed the L&D strategy.
- Lead the development of learning interventions, platforms and curriculum tailored to their business requirements, covering:
- Core/functional programs as per BU requirements
- Corporate induction program
- Soft skill programs
- E-learning solutions
- Corporate Leadership program
- Management trainee program
- Coaching/ mentoring
- On-the-job rotation
- Drive effective roll out and delivery of learning interventions and programs, including sourcing/ contracting of internal / external learning providers/ trainers, etc
- Measuring for success through evaluating the effectiveness of enterprise learning interventions.
- Consolidation of annual learning and development analyses

Requirements

- 10 years of L&D experience at a senior level managing a team.
- Regional gulf experience.

This will be a blended, 'brownfield site' type role which requires the post holder to be hands on from strategy to delivery.

Have had good exposure to working in partnership with Senior Management Teams getting their buy in to L&D strategies.
