Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Are you a Senior L&D Head looking for an L&D position in Dubai? One of Dubai's leading Groups is seeking a Head of Learning and Development to develop their L&D strategy, grow the L&D function and manage a high performing team to promote a continuous learning environment across a complex business structure with multiple stakeholders and thousands of employees.

Responsible for a growing division, you will also be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic Learning and Development initiatives across the business, with a focus on building people capabilities, career development, succession planning, and leadership programs.
- Enhance and manage the company's performance management process, including process design, material design, development, and training. Ensure that the program drives a culture of high performance.
- Develop collaborative relationships throughout the business and support the growth and strategic objectives of the company.
- Assess and monitor the effectiveness of all learning, development and training initiatives and performance interventions against defined metrics.
- Advance the learning and career development strategy for the Group and oversee its implementation and ensure that the learning plan is aligned to corporate business needs.
- Provide a corporate platform for ensuring meaningful feedback and dialogue about performance and development plans among management and employees at the Group.
- Manage the L&D team, conduct appraisals, set team objectives and manage the department budget.

Requirements

In order to be successful, you must have worked in a Senior L&D position within a multinational organization or a large, complex business.

You Must Have:
- Prior experience in defining L&D strategy.
- Strong team management experience.
- Covered many levels; leadership right down to front line staff.
- Programme design.
- Innovative and know the Global best practices in L&D.
