A leading provider of technical and vocational education and training in Saudi Arabia.
Seeking a Head of Learning and Teaching to oversee the quality and effectiveness of curriculum and teaching staff across the college.
You must be educated to degree level with at least 3 years experience in a senior management role within a vocational training or further education environment.
Parkhouse Bell are seeking a Head of Learning and Teaching on behalf of our client, an internationally renowned provider of education and training, as part of their ongoing growth strategy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to and working in partnership with the College Dean, you will take responsibility for the overall quality of teaching and learning throughout the college, driving performance improvements to ensure students can develop the knowledge and skills needed for meaningful employment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure strategic and operational targets are achieved.
- Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of staff development and review processes.
- Assess quality of teaching and address weaknesses if required.
- Act as Line Manager of Curriculum Managers in the college.
- Support HR Department to ensure placement of appropriately qualified teaching staff.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- Teaching and Assessor qualification.
- Experience in development and implementation of teaching and learning practices at college level.
- At least 3 years experience in a senior management role within a vocational or further education environment.
