Job description / Role
An exciting new position has arose to work for an interesting group based in Dubai. This group are involved in high-end prestigious developments in the UAE, responsible for creating prime freehold property in the heart of Dubai, including luxury residences, shopping & dining pavilions as well as large recreational spaces.
Due to extensive development projects in the region they are now seek to recruit a reputable senior lawyer to join the business, to head up their legal department/team, responsible for all day to day and project related legal matters for the business. There will be involvement in both construction and real estate related legal matters, for both existing projects and a portfolio of already completed properties.
My client also has a contracting/construction business unit, so knowledge of construction would be an advantage. As the company grows you would be responsible for building up the team and acting as advisor to the board on many matters. Its an exciting role for someone looking to grow with the business and implement their own systems and procedures.

Working Hours: Sun - Thurs
Salary Info: AED Currency (Tax Free)
Requirements
7+ years legal experience
Specialist knowledge:
> Currently working in a senior position within Real Estate/Construction
> Extensive experience/knowledge of dealing with construction matters/contracts (FIDIC, Contractor/sub-contractor agreements, supply agreements etc.)
> Law degree from a reputable institution
> Qualified lawyer (registered to a bar/law society)
Language Fluency: Arabic preferred but not essential
