Job description / Role
My client is large pharmacy retailer based in Riyadh with a focus on implementing change and bringing a new customer experience to it's retail channel.
Reporting directly to the CEO; The Head of Marketing is responsible for the strategy and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for the Brand and its products and services through the use of Product Marketing, Creative Health & Wellness Services, Advertising, Strategic Relationships, Direct Event Marketing, and Social Media & Website interaction.
In addition, to ensure the product is demand driven, Marketing & Visual Merchandising works with Purchasing and other core management teams to ensure the right mix of products, positioning and price. The Head of Marketing is responsible for the management of chain pharmacy layouts to ensure stores are consistent and merchandised according to standards.
Requirements
•A minimum of 10 years marketing experience in a retail environment in the Middle East, in particular Saudi Arabia
•Degree educated, with a bias in marketing, mass communications or business administration
•Strategic experience of all marketing communications channels including; Advertising, Media Planning, Corporate Identity, Direct Marketing, CRM, Events, Exhibitions and Sponsorships
•Strong innovative individual who can utilise a small marketing to budget to create a mass appeal
•Manage a marketing product team an build relationships with agencies
•Experience of many key stakeholders and managing accordingly
•Arabic speaking preference due to location
