Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Prepare & manages detailed marketing plan, program or campaign in the context of understanding the larger business picture.
- Leverages expertise in B2B &/or consumer marketing to provide innovative, creative & effective marketing strategies & tactical insights for business growth
- Design marketing strategies for all core & value added products in addition to 3rd products & services.
- Provide the planning & leadership to the Marketing Department by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies & programs are developed in order to meet & exceed the goals of the Marketing plan.
- To manage the marketing team & conduct all marketing activities that in order to achieve the business goals of the company.
- Provide marketing support to branches.
- Assume overall responsibility for developing the annual marketing plan for the organization; for strategic market planning; market research programs; field force activities (ATL & or BTL) & control of the marketing budget.
- Prepare new product marketing collaterals plans for product introductions in cooperation with Senior Management colleagues in IT, Operations, Sales & Business Development and Accounts departments.
- Establish a system of reports & communications for all information from the Marketing dept. to the Sales & Business Development team & for feedback & request from the Sales team to the marketing team.
- Participate on variety of in-house product promotions, 3rd party & value added product promotions.
- Studying market for new branch locations, liasoning with agents.
- Organize & direct marketing & strategy meetings on a regular basis whereby the strategy & promotion programs are reviewed.
- Responsible for performance appraisal of marketing team & provide training, development opportunities & program to front office resources.
- Anticipates or reacts quickly to & resolves conflict situations (internally & externally)
- Maintains a strong commitment to success, consistent performance & the ability to develop a wide range of solutions or ideas, some which may require learning new skills
- Encourages a positive, constructive mindset about the work acknowledging the contributions of others, accepting other points-of-view, communicating effectively to other team members
- Maintains positive relationship with internal & external stake holders.

- Coordinate with all vendors related to the department activities & carry on procurement
- Program sponsorship, branding, media advertisement
- Handling internal & external marketing communications.
- Visiting the branches to check on the activities & requirements of the branches.

Requirements

- Graduate / Bachelors degree finance or Business Administration.
- MBA Marketing
- 10+ years of marketing experience in Banking or Financial Institutions essential
- 5 + yeas of exp. in heading marketing dept. of banking or financial institutions.
- Digital/interactive agency experience could be added advantage
- Banking or financial services industry knowledge in GCC is preferred. Specifically, experience in remittance industry (MTO) & or retail banking environment.
- Highly organized & detail oriented.
- Proven ability to developing successful communication strategies & marketing plans required
- Solid project management & decision making skills required
- Strong analytical mindset, ability to quickly identify & articulate the components of a complex project or issue & effectively plan solution.
- Ability to think strategically - Capability to recognize & anticipate impact of specific actions on overall project or client relationship
- Strong marketing fundamentals & ability to effectively evaluate marketing communication tactics (design & user experience) & marketing strategies required
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project required
- Outstanding written, verbal communication skills and dynamic personality is desired.
- Ability to excel as part of a cross-functional team as well as work well independently
- Strong commitment to quality.
- Should possess UAE Drivers license
- Age: Below 40 years.
