Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading player in the food & beverage categories within the GCC with aggressive expansion plans into LEVANT on the cards and huge investments already gone into setting up a state of the art manufacturing facility in the UAE

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the purpose of this position is to determine and deliver the objectives and strategies for the business within the scope of modern trade.

This will be done by developing new customers and maintaining existing key customers for Modern Trade through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.

Heading up the Channel, you will be responsible to manage annual business development agreements for all customers, define channel objectives & strategy per category/brand, establish key customer objectives and monthly tracking of performance by key accounts.

Review OPEX on a monthly basis and minimize the trade marketing expense in-line with approved OPEX.

Ensure all SKUs are listed, performance is continually reviewed for rationalization and increased throughout from rented shelf space.

Identify opportunities for theme activities by customer and work out with trade marketing manager.

Implement proper collection plan as per the agreed terms and ensure visibility across all stores

Requirements

Bachelors Degree with 7+ years in FMCG Sales having managed the Modern Trade channel which should include negotiating BDA's with Key customers

Should have excellent negotiation and presentations skills

Strong in strategic thinking, Leadership, Communication, Problem Solving & Decision making initiative & Follow through, Customer business Analysis

Excellent command over English
