Job description / Role
Our client is an international leader in the Oil and Gas Industry who is looking to hire a professional Industrial Hygienist / Head of Occupational Health. You will specialise in the monitoring and assessment of individuals and employee groups to promote Health and Wellbeing within the organisation both corporate and on-site.
This is a crucial role within the business where you will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing and evaluating risk for the organisations Occupational Health. You will also be responsible for Clinical Governance providing leadership on OH Nursing practice to manage the risk and ensure safe practices as well as manage a team of OH professionals promoting professional excellence for OH staff within the Industry and National Professional bodies and legislation.
Requirements
As the successful candidate, it is essential you have the following; bachelor Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing; Post Graduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Public Health; eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse in Qatar; Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Trauma Life Support. If you are an Emergency Medical Technician that would be a distinct advantage.
You should also have 5 years experience as a Charge/Chief Nurse OH or Senior Staff Nurse in industrial care with 8 years continuous post registration experience in Occupational Health industrial care. Experience in the Oil and Gas industry would be beneficial.
