The RoleThe RoleMy client is currently looking for a procurement head at group level, to report directly into the CEO. This is a new position and so they are looking for candidates with a proven background in this area within the UAE It is a 7 billion dollar business, with the procurement accounting for roughly 1 billion dollars of this. I am looking to appoint a candidate who is extremely strong on the strategy and implementation side of the business as there will need to be decisions made to as to the centralising of all activities and working closely with all busines heads to enable decisions to be made and the function to run smoothly across the whole multi-disciplinary organisation. The candidate MUST have worked in the UAE previously and must have a keen focus on cost.
