Head of Production (Cut and Bend)

A leading European construction company is seeking a Head of Production for their facility in Qatar. This is a massive company with almost 200,000 employees globally.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Revising all the strategic objectives of his reporting departments and approve their action plans and follow up on it's implementation.
- Review the organization structure and recommend adjustment needed for better performance in coordination with HR Manager.
- Establish SOP Manual of the factory to guide operations.
- Work out strategic for build up and progress of the factory.
- Follow up on all reporting departments activities and devise reporting tools for feedback in cases of deviation to take corrective actions.
- Set, monitor, measure, and evaluate efficiency and product quality standards for manufacturing.
Responsible for design and technical specifications while ensuring cost, quality, and delivery requirements are met.
- Ensure the materials management team meets production and business needs through the timely receipt of materials, minimizing inventory and sourcing materials which conform to or improve on quality requirements at the lowest possible cost.
- Accountable for overall direction and management of the Quality Assurance process so that the production and assembly team consistently identifies and prevents non-conformance to quality standards. Establish a safe and healthy workplace that complies with all relevant labor legislation
- Communicate with appropriate outside sources to provide resolutions to customer and company questions and concerns, production process effectiveness, and other quality-related issues.
- Advise the management through regular meetings regarding factory issues, product issues, and give constructive suggestions to improve
- Communicate with internal and external customers to improve coordination, cooperation and implementation of new procedures or processes doing all what is necessary and as required by his direct manager.

Requirements

Qualities and Background
- 7- 10 years experience in Gulf as Production Head
- Bachelor's in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Cut and Bend field
- Arabic speaker preferred
- Familiar with construction materials
