Job description / Role
International design & interior specialists with a wealth of experience in working with some of the regions leading retail & hospitality groups primarily in interior design & retail store fit outs. As part of a large regional expansion plan they are now seeking to recruit a number of key staff to join their thriving Dubai operations as part of the manufacturing process.
Job Description:
- Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for leading the whole production process of interior / joinery projects for customers
- Managing a team of 180 + staff, primarily carpenters, warehouse staff, engineers in the manufacturing process
- Responsible for taking a design order process through to completion
- Duties include production planning, scheduling, quality assurance and Health & Safety
- Regular meetings with the customers & stakeholders on the projects
- Management of a pricing / budget & project P&L. Sourcing new project materials from suppliers.
- Recruitment, training and motivation of a large team
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years similar experience in the Management of joinery manufacturing industry, specializing in interiors / retail store design / hotel interiors process etc.
- Degree or Industry recognised qualification in Engineering / Joinery / Architecture
- Strong people management experience and the ability to direct large workforces through Supervisors and hands on approach
- Good all round financial management, budgeting & planning
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to be client facing providing a technical solution in the pre-sales process with other Management colleagues
- Must have excellent understanding of health & Safety. OH&S in a manufacturing environment
