Job description:

To manage the Production Gas Circuit function with an emphasis on enhancing the efficiency of production levels in line with the standard operating procedures and in compliance with Health Safety and Environment (HSE) in order to maximize productivity and minimize cost and waste.

Required outputs: Functional
• Utmost utilization of feed stock and production capacity
• Maximum proven record
• Efficiency and effectiveness of Gas Circuit production lines
• Ability to increase plant capacity through innovation and other sources whilst abiding to stipulated and agreed budgets
• Individual objectives, training development plans in place for all direct reports within the timescales defined by the corporate performance management process. Frequency of feedback and appraisal meetings.

General
• Ability to implement Production Department’s Strategy
• Talent and diversity management of team members
• Liaise with alliance partners
• Perform senior standby duties
• Liaise with utilities, maintenance and support services cost and waste.

Requirements

Job Requirements:
• Relevant degree - chemical engineering
• Proven ability to manage relationships in a diverse organisation

Specific experience required
• Minimum 10 years in a Production position with a significant experience working in:
- Air Separation Units
- Auto thermal Syngas production units
• Fischer Tropsch reaction units
• Quality Management Systems
• Knowledge of Operations Systems
• Use of Opex and Capex systems at an operational level
