The Role


The Role


The role is responsible for the development and execution of Cimac's projects and services strategy, aligned with operations in the Gulf region and the Gulf Project Management Office. A heavy focus of the role is to be the interface for sales and driving a cohesive business development model, managing the Projects P&L. This person will also actively ensure the delivering in all project revenue streams and overall business growth.
 Managing Quality & Health and Safety of all staff directly and indirectly reporting to the role is critical, ensuring that the appropriate standards and practices are understood and implemented, and that compliance is achieved.Business Development & Planning

* Implement strategic Projects business plan: which identify
* Achieve revenue and profit targets 
* Achieve country revenue target
* Monitor and react to revenue and margin trends in relation to projects and service
* Lead strategic project bids
* Work with partners in joint project bids
* Maintain relations with partners for joint resource sharing
* Manage Projects pipelines and work with sales team to win projects

Projects Operational Management

* Manage Projects budgeting and forecasting
* Participates in customer presentations demonstrations
* Manages long-term strategic relationships with key customers in conjunction with Sales leaders
* Analyse profitability and value of  projects offering
* Assess and coordinate the appropriate programs and elements needed to support projects
* Ensure development of projects offering meets market requirements
* Analyze and communicate projects performance and sales success 

Project &  Services Delivery

* Assess future skill requirements and develop strategies to address gaps
* Align with Global Systems and methodologies
* Coordinate resource tracking and sharing within the country 

Project Management Practises and Processes 

* Target effective use of projects methodologies including Project Management, Quality and Engineering standards, working closely with the Gulf PMO
* Implement Quality Policy and quality objectives and ensuring that all resources understand & implement the Quality Management System
* Actively identify and support process improvements in all project related systems

People Management

* Plan and direct the activity of direct reports
* Provide leadership for Project teams
* Assess training needs and maintain staff development initiatives
* Ensure job functions and expectations are clearly communicated
* Provide mentorship and coaching
* Ensure HR programs and policies are implemented effectively
* Ensure open communication within and between departments

Team Leadership Responsibilities

* Control Projects cost budget
* Provide monthly management reports
* Actively participate in Leadership Team meetings
* Work cooperatively with other LT members
* Communicate LT decisions and strategic direction consistently and constructively
* Build constructive behaviors in self, team, and work practices

Requirements


Requirements


* Tertiary Business/Marketing degree desirable
* 5+ years experience in Professional Services/ projects management in a automation environment essential
* Track record of delivering sales results, business growth, and margin management essential.
* Strong understanding of relevant industry sectors essential
* Sales experience desirable
* Experience in managing and delivering Projects across multiple sites desirable
* Strong Client relationship management skills
* Commercial acumen
