The Role

The Role

Our client is a international FM service provider, they require a Head of Property and Logistics to undertake the following role:

To evaluate the current structure and resources in the Property and Logistics department, propose a restructuring plan which will match skill sets to responsibilities, streamline and improve the operations along vertical areas of the department. Work with the business units to develop and standardize new policies and procedures which will govern the services given to them. Sponsor and drive the project that will gather the requirement and identify the best Logistics and Transportation software solution that will optimize the operations of the department.

Be the Facility Manager for all the properties used by the client, these include main and satellite offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, labour camp accommodations.

This includes managing leases, municipal related items, MEP, security, cleaning and day to day operations of the properties, create and provide logistical management information reports.

Oversee the Project Manager who is responsible for all construction related activities on our properties.

Manage the accommodation manager who is responsible for the daily operations, security and maintenance of all labour camps.

Responsible for the catering contracts and daily catering operations.

Manage a transportation manager who is responsible of a fleet of more than 300 mixed use vehicles.

Manage contracts and operations of Pest Control and Prevention at all properties and vehicles.

Ensure schedules are met and that hygiene education is given to all camp employees.

Manage Administrative team which includes PROs and Financial Administrator.

Manage Project Manager who will be responsible for driving all Sustainability related projects.

Manage the Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring best practices are followed.

Ensure responsibilities, deliverables and activities are discharged in compliance with all appropriate Health and Safety standards, regulatory requirements and legislations.

Conduct quarterly reviews and implement measures to optimise performance.

Develop and execute strategies aligned to group strategy.



The desirable candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

Qualified in catering / hospitality

Has experience of managing large labour camps
