Head of Recruitment

Job description / Role

One of the leading engineering companies in Qatar my client are looking to recruit a Head of Recruitment.

Reporting to the Head of HR the incumbent will be responsible for the entire recruitment function in order to meet the strategic business objectives. You will play a strategic role in the planning and developing of recruitment processes to attract, retain and develop talent. The key areas of focus in the position will be identifying a recruitment system, to manage the implementation and maintenance of the system. You will develop and implement recruiting systems and procedures in order to attract the best qualified candidates in a timely manner. You will be heavy involved in the participation of career fairs as an alternative source of talent. Finally you will have budget control and will work closely with Business units heads to ensure annual targets are in line with the company’s annual manpower budget.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a high volume recruitment position along with managing a team. Experience in the region is essential. You must have demonstrated implementation of policies and procedures along with a high level of communication and presentation skills.
