This position is based in the Custody and wealth management division, and will be reporting to the head of Custody.

You will be responsible for;

- The retention of the client database by maintaining strong relationships with key people involved as well as developing the business and growing new relationships
- Improving the profitability and revenue stream of primary accounts
- Ensure that the relationship management team’s targets are met and that their performance is monitored and performance appraisals are compiled
- Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) database to monitor activities with regards to customer queries etc.
- Ensure that the whole bank is coordinated across the client database
- Full team responsibility, to conduct weekly/monthly meetings to provide feedback and motivation to the team. Share vital company information with them. Manage common problems and concerns.
- Ensure the adherence to KPIs
- Identify essential cross selling opportunities and referrals

You will be expected to;

- Act as a representative for the firm, engaging in industry discussions and making sure that you are up to date with market trends
- Act as the single point of contact for all custody queries
- Constantly be interacting with and building multi-level partnerships are established with clients
- Identify and connect with client’s key decision makers
- Ensure that a proactive service plan is put in place to add exceptional value added services to clients
- Design appropriate service level agreements to suit client’s needs
- Attend service meetings with clients
- Always be on the look to improve service level standards and to assess where service may be lacking so that improvements can be made.
- Make sure that what the client needs and what service is provided on are on par
- Maintain all critical information such as contact management, call reports, key client report and sales pipe lines
- Always make sure that customer satisfaction is top priority
- Adhere to various administrative tasks, as well as recruitment for the team.
- Provide in depth technical and business support to the network management function, providing market expertise to the bank’s global custody clients.
- Liase with 3rd parties and other departments of the bank ensuring all products are available and offering best services to the clients.
- Compile, review and analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs)
- Review performance of sub-custodians
- Communicate with sub-custodians
- Identify where skills and developmental skills and training are needed

- A complete understanding of the custody business, product offerings, demand drivers, business environment, regulations, competitive landscape etc
- Possess strong client relationship management skills
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and ethics
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Leadership and problem solving skills
- Great communication skills
- Graduate/ MBA with 5-8 years experience in working with Global Custodians and Network Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading network management team for a custody business of a financial services firm
