Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To build and manage the Remittances business for ADCB consumer banking by using an integrated multi-channel, multi-partner approach. Establish and maintain high benchmarks for customer service. Manage major programs / projects required for the business

Principal Accountabilities
- Prepare and develop business strategy for driving acquisition, cross-sell and migration of Remittance customers to ADCB.
- Building an analytics infrastructure to support business.
- Develop deep understanding of market trends, competitor positioning and offerings, key drivers of the business and industry best practices.
- Develop strategy for execution of strategic Programs and Projects for Remittances.
- Ensure development of best-in-class platforms, media to augment remittances and increase customer uptake.
- Drive migration through development of new features, robust delivery infrastructure and effective marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the Product Management, Customer Segments, Sales & Distribution teams to achieve end objectives.
- Ensure processes are in place for quality service delivery.
- Co-ordinate and Communicate with intra bank departments e.g. marketing services , IT, Operations, Card Centre, Compliance etc. to ensure effective delivery of agreed objectives
- Manage, motivate and train / manage the team by providing on job training, setting guidelines and standard, career planning and counselling.
- Develop and manage strategic alliances for core business and value added features.
- Contribute to strategic discussions on products & segments within the Consumer Business Group.
- Briefing meetings with Advertising and marketing agencies.
- Meetings and discussions with legal and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

Minimum Education Level
- Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution.
- Post Graduate qualification in Information Systems / Business Administration / Marketing.

Professional Qualification
- Diploma / Degree / Certification in Marketing, Technology, Banking.

Experience
- Min 10 years experience in banking in a well established financial institution/ bank.
- Specific experience in Local / regional market and line of business desirable.
