The Role


The Role


Job Purpose:
A commercially experienced Requirements Manager is required to work on a mission critical, complex, large systems Fixed National Launch programme. The successful candidate will have held a Requirements Management position within a large system integration programme, full understanding of product development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation and strong a TELCO experience.
Must be able to manage translation of business requirements from different work streams of the FNL programme, impact them and agree with Technology on how best to deliver them ensuring traceability

Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:

Requirements Management
•To be the key contact for the management of FNL Process/FBT requirements
•To develop the Requirements Management Process in conjunction with technology and in accordance with Industry Best Practice
•To identify owners for the requirement delivery, and ensure owners are aware of their responsibilities
•To liaise with the E2E PMs on new, deleted or updated requirements; providing analysis, reporting on requirements and escalating issues to the Project Management team
•To provide traceability reports to the development team leaders to ensure full requirements coverage.

Project Management
•Manage the central pool providing resource to either scope and/or manage key business projects or change initiatives designed to drive efficiency or improvement in the FNL programme
•Coordinate the allocation of project resources to FNL Process/FBT projects to ensure their time is optimally used
•Deliver significant projects (in project manager capacity) as appropriate

Team Management
•Manage and motivate the central pool of process analysts, and business analysts, BRM analysts and trainers
•Provide opportunities for staff development through on the job experiences and formal training programmes
•Ensure performance management agreements are in place with regular reviews undertaken to guarantee progress
•Manage poor performers in the team appropriately
