Head of Retail Operations

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a Saudi Arabian market leader in Duty Free who are looking to hire a Head of Retail Operations to join their team.

Reporting to the GM Retail, you will be responsible for maximising sales and profit, ensuring targets are achieved through the delivery of world class customer service and effective merchandising. You will also oversee the day-to-day operation including a multitude of high profile brands.

Additionally you will manage the retail operation in accordance with company policy in sales, customer service, marketing and promotions, staff management as well as merchandising and display, stock control and handling, general performance and KPIs.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least 5 years experience in retail development, retail management and influencing people. You should also have prior experience in travel retail and excellent financial knowledge. It is essential you have a minimum level of high school education, a bachelors Degree would be advantageous.
