Job description / Role
The role entails managing the payment operations, card development and issuance and acquiring new customers. Suitable candidate profile is:
Experienced in product development in credit card and debit card field
Experienced and exposure in the operations side of cards
Has strong business development capabilities in the card business
Well networked and connected with major credit card issuers (e.g. Visa)
Exposure into ATM management.
Plan organize direct and control retail banking activities and resources in order to meet retail banking objectives.
Assess market conditions, define, recommend, implement and monitor retail banking strategy in order to gain and sustain the banks competitive edge and results.
Review control the branches operating costs within the budget in order to maintain cost control
Access, analyze, define, recommend implement and follow up market intelligence, and marketing plans in order to meet retail banking strategic objectives
Identify customer needs initiate action and follow up in order to meet customer expectations
Requirements
In depth understanding of business and functions related to the department.
The candidate should have in-depth knowledge on analysis of Bank financials and other department functions in a bank. Should be able to analyze market conditions and identify opportunity for business
Ability to think strategically and assist in the organization and management of multi-nationality team.
Excellent innovative, marketing, communication, organizing and leadership skills.
University Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related field.
Must have outstanding PC and Software skills which to include Excel, Word and Power Point.
