Head of Sales & Business Development

Job description / Role

My client, based out of the UAE, provide warehousing, distribution, supply chain and transportation services across the Middle East. Operating out of their headquarters in Dubai, they maintain a state-of-the-art management system in order to maximize client services and accessibility.

There is now an urgent requirement for an experience sales person to join the team as the Head of Sales & Business Development. This will be covering all of the company’s services, so you must have an excellent understanding of the full logistics cycle. You will have an existing network of contacts within the Industry and a good relationship with potential clients to bring on board new business.

There will be a small team of Sales/BD members under your control, so you must be willing to direct the sales strategy and implement new ideas to ensure maximum utilization of the company’s facilities.

Requirements

*10 + years Sales and Business Development experience in a 3PL or similar Logistics company
*Working experience in the Middle East, proving your ability to draw business in the Market
*Excellent client facing skills, sales ability, market knowledge and confidence
*Proven track record of successful saves and revenue generation within 3PL
*Technical understanding of 3PL services and the functionality of warehouses
*Degree/Diploma in Logistics or similar subject
