Employment: Full Time

Our client is currently recruiting for the role of Head of Sales to be based in the Middle East.

The Role

To provide leadership to the Food Solutions sales team, implement our sales strategy for the Food Solutions sector, and driving sales and volume growth through managing existing key accounts and developing profitable new sales in new and existing markets and geographical areas.
Deliver and ensure the sales team delivers on sales volume and value targets.
Grow sales volumes and market share of products the company is aspiring to develop, and attains country and market sector sales targets.
Sets stretching but deliverable sales targets for the team and motivates and manages the team in achieving these targets.
To implement successful sales strategies that develop new profitable sales volume with existing accounts in existing and new countries and market segments.
To take the lead and be a key contact to the top Food Solutions accounts and manage the large distributors in this sector in order to best serve the franchise
Ensure promotional activities are cost effective, focussed and successfully executed to maximise sales growth and brand awareness.
Lead, develop, inspire and motivate direct reports to attain sales targets, and drive an upward improvements in the teams skills and performance.
In conjunction with the Head of Sales for Brands and Commodities, develop, lead and manage events and mechanisms that recognise, reward and motivate high achievers in the sales team.

There is a salary of 45K tax free on offer

Requirements

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have previous sales leadership experience
Proven track record of developing profitable sales through the successful account management with established customers, and of attaining new customers.
Previous experience in dealing with distributors and food service accounts.
Substantial FMCG experience.
Experience of managing multicultural and functional teams.
Be professionally qualified with a vocational qualification in marketing, category management, sales leadership or business.
A graduate, preferably in business or managements studies
Some knowledge in the GCC is preferred and Arabic speak would be advantageous
