Head of Security

Job description / Role

Inspire Selection are working on behalf of a Facility Management Services provider based in Dubai. Reporting into the Director of Security, they require a Head of Security to manage security personnel across various, mixed-use projects in Dubai.

The right candidate will have overall people responsibility, including the training and development for security personnel on various contracts, of over 2000 security personnel.
Determines resource requirements and allocates appropriate resource across all contracts
Identifies people related risks and suggests solutions
Works closely with the Bid Team to support the security strategy of bids
Leads, recruits, develops and actively retains staff to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner
Develops a close working relationship with each client and holds regular meetings to ensure the smooth running of contracts.

Requirements

Must have a Police or Military/security background
Will have experience of working in a similar type role in the Middle East, and must have UAE experience
Strong man management and leadership capabilities
Must have experience of managing security personnel/guards on various contracts
Client liaison and customer service experience
Security Training experience is also desirable
