The RoleThe RoleOur client, an investment entity based in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a Head of Service Support for their IT department. Responsibilities include managing IT service support, system support and technical support sections. You will also be managing teams for network support, telecommunication support, database applications support and management. Managing and deliver effective IT service and analyse IT performance. Plan, execute and control support services sections. Ensure that the SLA’s for all sections are meet. You will be responsible for the budgeting and staffing of the service sections. Identifying and recommending areas of growth for the service sections. Enhancing IT services and managing best practices. Develops and establishes short term and medium-term strategies and to plans for the Data Centre environment in term of systems capacity and organization growth. Oversees the development and review of system designs and implementation plans to ensure compliance with security standards and procedures as well as disaster recovery and contingency plan. Ensures that all systems have disaster recovery and contingency plans. |
RequirementsRequirementsyou must have B.Sc. in Computer Science and 12 years experience in diversified computer activities, including at least 8 years in a supervisory position of which at least 2 years should have been within a client /server environment. ITIL Foundation Certificate and ITIL Service Manager Certification is a must. |
