Job description / Role
• To run the shuttering and scaffolding division efficiently.
• To carry out daily operation tasks given to him by the Reinforcement Manager.
• Review of tender documents and GRF’s (General Requisition Forms).
• Determine BOQ from the drawing provided by the project site or cost centers, and provide quotation and technical assistance to the PMT (Project Management) with regard to shuttering and scaffolding.
• Obtain quotations from various suppliers for the non-stock material required for the jobs and ensure timely purchase of material by following standard SOP’s of purchasing.
• Mobilize material and manpower required for erection of shuttering and scaffolding at site.
• Ensure optimum utilization of material and manpower for timely completion of job.
• Periodic reconciliation of material transferred from Shuttering and Scaffolding Division and Project Site and vice-versa.
• To ensure HSE and QA/QC is incorporated in all work carried out.
• To ensure that the mutually agreed programmers are adhered to.
• To attend site progress meetings and general workshop meetings.
• To attend and deal satisfactorily, complaints and other related technical issues.
• To formulate long term plans and objectives to manage the efficiency of the division.
• Reporting to the Reinforcement Manager.
Requirements
• A post-graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferably major in Shuttering/Scaffolding) or Mechanical Engineering with 3 years’ experience in handling shuttering and scaffolding systems.
• Good work knowledge of AutoCAD or other design/drawing software
• Strong working knowledge of MS office
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English Language.
• Hardworking, proactive, problem solving and a team member to work in good spirit with his seniors and Technicians.
