The Role


The Role


1. Accountabilities:
•Lead the Structural section and be a technical reference within the discipline
•Ensuring integration of teams and standardization of processes, skill types and capabilities
•Ensure all work assigned to the section is completed properly and meet the required specifications, quality and standard
•Establishes, maintains and manages processes and systems that ensure delivery of high quality consistent structural design services.
•Line manage and coach team leaders enabling leadership of their team structures
•Ensure all section engineers are provided with consistent personal and career development
•Ensure effective utilization of resources in the section

2. Responsibilities:
•Assist team leaders in setting the design bases of their projects and lead design review & verification process
•Supports Performance Director in integrating with other sections
•Develop and promote a culture of high performance and customer centric services
•Minimize waste and improve efficiency through promoting of best practices adopted by team members

•Reports to Performance Director
•Delivery Director – Provide technical support to proposal preparation

2. Decision Making authority:
•Operational expenditure associated with the structural team
•Recruit and appoint engineers as required to ensure optimal utilization and delivery
•Manage all structural people processes
