Our client is a major multi-disciplinary consultancy with a growing presence throughout the Middle East Region. An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Structural Engineering to join its rapidly expanding team based in Muscat.

The Head of Structural Engineering will be responsible for managing our clients office based design team and will be well versed in all stages of structural design from initial concept right through to completion.

Projects are varied and include hospitality, high rise, retail, residential projects and many more!

Requirements

- Degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or relevant related discipline
- Accreditation by a professional body such as the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or Chartered (CEng)
- Have a proven track record working for well reputed multi-disciplinary Consultancies and / or Architecture & Engineering Consultancies
- Successful candidates will have a proven track record in managing sizeable structural design teams
- Previous experience working within the Middle East is essential
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills are a pre-requisite of the role.
