Employment: Full Time

One of the Multinational Manufacturing Company into Packaging Material is looking to recruit a technically qualified and experienced Head of Supply Chain with overall responsibility for the activities of the procurement and raw materials planning department, warehouse & distribution department and the engineering stores.

Job Overview:
- Accountable for balancing working capital, timely delivery and inventory management of all purchases & finished products.
- Accountable for a cost-effective procurement strategy in collaboration with central Sourcing: raw material, packaging procurement & planning.
- Responsible for adequate availability of raw materials and other materials procurement to optimize the efficiency of the purchase process.
- Ensure delivery of finished goods to customers on time and in full.
- Manage the company fleet & liaise with third party transportation companies to negotiate optimum rates & meet.
- Collaborate with sales and demand planning functions to optimize procurement, manufacturing, inventories and distribution.
- Suggest training needs to develop & motivate departmental staff & monitor, through performance appraisal, to ensure performance improvement & increase efficiency meeting set of objectives.
- Prepare, present & justify annual budgets for supply chain in order to measure cost effectiveness of the department & submit to the management for review and approval.

Requirements

- Must have University Degree in Engineering, preferably an Engineering Or Mechanical Degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, with working experience experience in a Supply Chain, Sourcing and Planning role, preferably in a manufacturing background
- Previous experience of managing large diverse workforce.
- You have skills and experience in negotiation for warehousing and transportation (sea/land/air), preferably within the Middle East region.
- You possess an experience in handling, planning budgets and rolling forecasts.
- You are customer and quality focused with strong coaching and leadership skills.
