Employment: Full Time

Our client is a renowned luxury brand that is looking to hire Head of Supply Chain for their UAE Head Quarters.

The Role

To develop strategic and operating plans to ensure availability and appropriateness of Supply Chain resources so as to support current business activities and projected growth. Design and implement Supply Chain processes that support business strategies - considering market conditions, new business opportunities and/or cost reduction strategies. Conduct capacity analysis and develop capacity plans accordingly. Direct, organize and motivate the Supply Chain team to meet business objectives. Develop and deploy policies, procedures, systems and programs to meet objectives and ensure continuous improvement in integration, inventory, distribution and transportation. Monitor forecasts to identify changes, determine and minimize their effect/risk on supply chain activities Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison or evaluation of supply chain dynamics. Communicate resource plans to respective stakeholders to gain consensus. Develop inter-functional procedures between Supply Chain Management and other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance. Managing the supplier relationship and negotiations. Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing and receiving. Improve the distribution network efficiency between all facilities. Ensure that physical chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities and system flows are of optimal standards and provide maximum efficiency to the supply chain process of the company Assess material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move or store products. Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws.

You will be measured on (KPI’s):

1) Warehousing/Storage Metrics
2) Sourcing and Negotiation with Suppliers
3) Order Tracking/Order Status/Response time Inventory Accuracy/Inventory to Sales Ratio/Inventory Rotation Days Forecast Accuracy

Requirements

10-15 years experience in a combination of planning, logistics, production scheduling and/or inventory control, with at 5 years of direct management experience.

Experience in designing/redesigning supply chain processes and programs.

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, preferably majoring in Supply Chain Management.

Strong Management Information Systems skills,
High level understanding of forecasting Strategic and Tactical focus, Leadership, Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Abilities

Strong Financial Acumen

EU/US/Canadian/Australian National
