Job description / Role

Modern Dairy Plant Company (MDPC) is a dairy manufacturing plant specializing in large catering size products. The company had recently undergone an expansion to its manufacturing plant, and has placed the foundation to increase its production by five folds.

We are looking for a candidate to lead the Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics divisions that comprises of MDPCs Supply Chain Department.

The candidate is expected to reach the department goals by: ensuring the supply of resources to the required division at the right time, with the best prices and the most suitable payment terms without sacrificing on quality; balancing between minimizing inventory stock and reducing out-of-stock risk; building a good supplier relationship and network; guaranteeing on time delivery to all internal and external customers as well as tracking all items in warehouse and transit.

He should be able to follow KPI that leads to effective decision-making. Training and evaluating staff is required to ensure success of the Departments team.

The candidate shall be part of the executive committee that is responsible for both, business development and planning, with goals to reach efficient and smooth workflow, ensure a healthy business growth, increasing profit, while keeping a positive work environment and increasing customer satisfaction and public relations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is required to have a post graduate degree, preferably in the field of Supply Chain Management; with a minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain management of FMCG; be fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken); is an expert user in MS Office; have knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics; have great negotiating skills; and is a good planner; capable of searching the web for new suppliers and products. Knowledge in vehicle mechanics is a plus.

The candidate should be organized, attentive to detail, self-reliable, show leadership capability, team player, motivational, and enthusiastic.
