Job description / Role

Our Client is highly recognised Islamic Banking & Finance Organisation with operations in several countries. They currently seek a Head of Trading to lead and direct the Organisation's Treasury Trading team for all trading activities.

Requirements

The prime responsibility for this position will be to lead and direct the Treasury Trading team for all trading activities with a view to maximize profitability, limit losses for the Organisation and ensure adherence to defined risk parameters, regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.

12 years of experience in Treasury with 5 years experience in a similar position with a financial institution.
High degree of Leadership skills.
Successful Trading Management Experience
Extensive knowledge of the banking sector in Kuwait and the region.
Knowledge of Islamic Banking Industry, Trading and Treasury Products.
Extensive Knowledge of Market Risk.
Understanding of market trends and competitor awareness.
